## Description

**Kozec SEO** is the official WordPress integration for the [Kozec](https://kozec.ai)
platform. It serves as a bridge between your WordPress site and your Kozec account,
enabling seamless synchronization of SEO metadata and content settings.

While Kozec provides a powerful premium web service for content management and optimization,
this plugin ensures that your WordPress data remains perfectly in sync. It exposes
SEO plugin meta fields to the REST API, allowing the Kozec platform to read and 
write SEO data programmatically.

## Installation

 1. Upload the `kozec-seo` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory.
 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
 3. That’s it! Your site is now ready to connect with Kozec.

**Via WordPress Admin**

 1. Go to Plugins > Add New.
 2. Search for «Kozec SEO».
 3. Click «Install Now» and then «Activate».

## FAQ

### Is this a standalone SEO plugin?

No. This plugin acts as a bridge. You still need a dedicated SEO plugin (like Yoast
or Rank Math) installed on your WordPress site to handle the actual SEO logic. Kozec
SEO simply makes that data accessible to the Kozec platform.

### Do I need a Kozec account?

This plugin is designed to work with the Kozec premium service. While it technically
exposes SEO data via REST API for any use, its primary purpose is to integrate with
Kozec.

### Is authentication required?

Yes. Only authenticated users with the `edit_posts` capability can read or write
SEO meta fields. This ensures your data remains secure.
