Review Wall

Description

Review Wall is a WordPress plugin that helps businesses collect and manage Google Reviews more effectively. It creates a smart review collection system that redirects positive reviews directly to Google Reviews while keeping negative feedback on your website for internal handling.

The plugin allows you to create multiple custom review collection URLs, each with a unique identifier. When customers want to leave a review, they’re initially directed to your website where they can rate their experience. Based on the rating threshold you set, the plugin automatically:

  • Redirects satisfied customers to your Google Review page to share their positive experience publicly
  • Captures feedback from unsatisfied customers on your own website, preventing negative public reviews while still collecting valuable feedback

You can add Google Reviews manually or connect the plugin to the Google API to automatically fetch reviews.
The plugin generates a customizable review widget that can be embedded anywhere on your site.

Usage

Setting Up Your First Review URL

  1. Navigate to the Review Wall settings page in your WordPress admin area
  2. Add your company logo (optional)
  3. Set your rating threshold (e.g., 4 stars)
  4. Click on «Add New URL»
  5. Enter a name for this review destination (e.g., «Main Location»)
  6. Enter or generate a unique URL key
  7. Enter your Google Review URL
  8. Click «Add URL»

Sharing Review Links

Once you’ve created a review URL, you can share it with customers in several ways:
– In email signatures
– On business cards
– In follow-up emails after purchases
– In QR codes displayed in your physical location

The URL format will be: yourdomain.com/feedback/?id=your_unique_key

Behavior Without URL Parameter

If the review page is accessed without the id parameter in the URL (for example, yourdomain.com/feedback/) or if the provided id does not match any added URL, the plugin will automatically redirect users to the default Google Review link specified in the plugin settings.

This ensures that you always have a working review collection link even without a unique URL key.

Managing Customer Feedback

  • Positive reviews (above your rating threshold) will be automatically directed to Google
  • Negative reviews (below your threshold) will be captured on your website
  • You can view all captured feedback in the WordPress admin area
  • Use the feedback to improve your business operations

Using the Review Widget Shortcode

You can add Google Reviews manually in the plugin admin area.
Alternatively, you can connect the plugin to the Google API to automatically fetch and sync your reviews.

Use the shortcode [review_wall_google_reviews] to display the widget anywhere on your site.

The widget includes:
– A slider showcasing the reviews
– Average rating display
– Total number of reviews
– Link to your Google Review page
