The Ping Watcher plugin can catch up to 100 ping errors. These are displayed in both a dashboard widget and on the plugin's Settings page. Great for tracking repeated ping failures so you can clean up your ping list.<\/p>\n\n
The Ping Watcher plugin is not compatible with the Error Reporting plugin<\/a>. Ping Watcher is included as a part of that plugin, and both can not be activated at the same time.<\/p>\n\n If a ping fails once, or even a few times, it does not necessarily mean that it should be removed from your ping list. Both plugins set PHP error handling to use custom error handlers. The Error Reporting plugin catches all error types. Although the Ping Watcher plugin only catches E_ WARNNG errors, of which it then selectively records ping errors, if both were activated the other E_ WARNING errors would be missed by the Error Reporting plugin. As the Error Reporting plugin includes the Ping Watcher plugin's features, if you are interested in other errors as well as ping errors, please use the Error Reporting plugin<\/a> instead of Ping Watcher.<\/p><\/dd>\n\n<\/dl>\n\n\n
